Introduction｜引言

Copper and molybdenum are foundational materials used across power systems, industrial manufacturing, construction, transportation, and selected advanced materials applications. Demand for these metals is closely linked to long-term trends in economic activity, infrastructure investment, and technological development. In recent years, electrification, grid upgrades, renewable energy deployment, and data infrastructure expansion have drawn attention to the structural role of copper in the global economy.

When assessing resource-based enterprises, short-term price movements are often less informative than structural factors such as the sustainability of resource endowment, the stability of product sales systems, and positioning within the industrial value chain. From this perspective, this article examines the operating structure of a major global copper producer across resource distribution, product sales and customer ecosystem, value-chain positioning, supply–demand background, and industry landscape.
